North Galway Vintage & Heritage Club
NGVHC
Welcome

We would like to extend you our warmest welcome to our brand new website which has just been launched. Our club was formed just over one year ago and it continues to grow week on week. Our inaugural festival was a great success and it was a tribute to the club members and volunteers who worked tirelessly to make the event possible.

We established our club in January 2013, and we have over 120 members since our inception. We had a very successful Road Run on Sunday 28th of April, with vintage cars, tractors and commercial vehicles lining the roads of Moylough to Ballinasloe.

There were many highlights at our inaugural festival and we held our very first Model and die cast exhibition as part of our festival. It was very popular and it gave all our visitors a view of modern and vintage vehicles on a minature scale.

We also hosted a "Working Field" exhibit at our festival, and there was a variety of exhibits to see here such as trashing hay, ploughing, and turf cutting, amongst other displays.

On behalf of myself and the North Galway Vintage & Heritage CLub, we would like to thank the Mannion family for the use of their yard and grounds, the Somers family, Moylough National School and all the other land owners who generously gave us the use of their grounds for the festival.

We had a great behind the scenes crew, who worked tirelessly to make the festival possible, the local FAS participants together with our members who made our inaugural festival such a success.

We hope you enjoy using this website and find it a useful resource. We will keep you informed on this website on all our future news and events, as the site has a dedicated team which will keep you up to date on all our activities.
